Standard Drinking Water And Role of Minerals
Generally, bottled water drinkers and sellers only consider TDS.
But if 10,000 PPM water is passed through an RO membrane, its TDS will be reduced to 200 PPM without adding minerals. But……….
❌This water will not contain healthy minerals.
❌ Its pH may be less than 7 which is harmful.
❌ It may also contain viruses and bacteria.
❌ Its taste will not be refreshing
What should be the TDS of water?
✅Companies selling water in small and large bottles keep the TDS of water from 200 to 300 PPM.
✅ The TDS of water supplied to homes by the government is 400 to 500 PPM
✅ While according to WHO, water up to 1000 PPM can be drunk.
Global standard for healthy water
The whole world is crazy about alkaline water at the moment. The standard of which is measured not by TDS❌ but by pH✅ . The pH of blood in the human body is 7.365. If the pH of water is less than this, then the water is acidic (i.e. harmful). And if it is more than this, then the water is alkaline (i.e. healthy).
Why are minerals added to water?

How many types of minerals are there?
It is difficult to give a definitive answer, but the number of minerals discovered so far is from 3500 to 4000. But most of the companies selling water add only five or six minerals to the water. In which

In what form and at what price are the minerals added to the water available?
The minerals added to the water are available in liquid (i.e. water) form which are called crystal minerals. It contains all the minerals mentioned above or the manufacturing company and as many minerals as you want to add (dissolved). These minerals are available in the following colors and types.
1️⃣Transparent (water color) crystal minerals (price 200 rupees per liter)
These are the cheapest in terms of price, even if the TDS of RO plant water (without adding minerals) is as low as 50 PPM, these minerals can increase it up to 300 PPM. And the cost comes to only 6 paise per liter (i.e. only 1 rupee 18 paise per 19 liter bottle).
2️⃣ Transparent (water color) standard crystal minerals (price 300 rupees per liter)
These minerals are better and of higher quality than the first crystal minerals and they also make 3200 liters of water in one liter. If the TDS of RO plant water (without adding minerals) is as low as 50 PPM, then the cost of making water up to 300 PPM comes to 9 paise per liter (i.e. only 1 rupee 78 paise per 19 liter bottle). It contains halal ingredients. 8 minerals are used in its preparation. which have a good effect on health.
3️⃣Transparent Green (green color) High pH Crystal Minerals (price 400 rupees per liter)
These are a fine variety of high pH minerals. They are expensive but have all the qualities that make water according to international standards. Along with TDS, they also keep the pH above 8. And nowadays people all over the world decide to buy water on the basis of pH. High pH means alkaline water. The cost of water prepared using green crystal minerals comes to 12 paise per liter. Green crystal minerals also contain halal ingredients and they give the water color, taste, aroma, pH, PPM, health everything. It is prepared from 12 different minerals which also include zinc.
4️⃣ Transparent Blue (blue color) Alkaline Crystal Minerals (price 500 rupees per liter)
Alkaline blue crystal minerals are the most expensive i.e. 500 rupees per liter. The water prepared from these minerals cannot be compared. Those who want to launch a water brand should use these minerals. In addition to 16 to 18 minerals, vitamins are also used in their preparation, so the water prepared from it is also called multivitamin water. Alkaline, aroma, taste, color, health, vitamins, PPM, pH In short, these minerals give everything an excellent standard. However, due to being expensive, few people buy it. But whoever drinks the water prepared from these minerals once does not go to any other brand. The water prepared from it will be very light and gives the taste of a natural waterfall (spring mint).
How many liters of water can be made from one liter of crystal mineral?
One liter of crystal mineral is mixed with ten liters of water and kept in a dosing tank, thus making eleven liters of mineral. If the TDS of RO plant water is 50 PPM, then by keeping fifty percent dosing on the dosing meter, these eleven liters of mineral can make 3200 liters of water. In this way 3200 liters of water can be made from one liter of concentrated (crystal mineral).

پانی میں شامل کئے جانے والے منرلز لیکوئیڈ (یعنی پانی کی) شکل میں دستیاب ہوتے ہیں جنہیں کرسٹل منرلز کہا جاتا ہے ۔ اسی میں اوپر ذکر کئے گئے تمام منرلز یا تیار کرنے والی کمپنی اور جتنے منرلز شامل کرنا چاہے (حل شدہ) ہوتے ہیں۔ یہ منرلز مندرجہ ذیل کلرز اور اقسام میں دستیاب ہوتے ہیں ۔
1️⃣ٹرانسپیرنٹ (پانی کے رنگ کے) کرسٹل منرلز (قیمت 200 روپے فی لیٹر)
قیمت کے لحاظ سے یہ سب سے سستے ہیں اگر آر او پلانٹ کے پانی کا ٹی ڈی ایس (بغیر منرل شامل کئے) 50 پی پی ایم جتنا کم ہے تب بھی یہ منرل اسے 300 پی پی ایم تک بڑھا سکتے ہیں ۔ اور لاگت صرف 6 پیسے فی لیٹر ( یعنی 19 لیٹر کی بوتل پر صرف 1 روپے 18 پیسے) آتی ہے۔
2️⃣ٹرانسپیرنٹ (پانی کے رنگ کے) معیاری کرسٹل منرلز (قیمت 300 روپے فی لیٹر)
یہ منرلز پہلے والے کرسٹل منرلز کے مقابلے میں زیادہ بہتر اور معیاری ہیں اور یہ بھی ایک لیٹر میں 3200 لیٹر پانی بنا کر دیتے ہیں ۔ اگر آر او پلانٹ کے پانی کا ٹی ڈی ایس (بغیر منرل شامل کئے) 50 پی پی ایم جتنا کم ہے تب بھی 300 پی پی ایم تک کا پانی بنانے پر لاگت 9 پیسے فی لیٹر (یعنی 19 لیٹر کی بوتل پر صرف 1 روپے 78 پیسے) آتی ہے۔ یہ حلال اجزاء پر مشتمل ہوتا ہے ۔ اس کی تیاری میں 8 منرلز کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے ۔ جو کہ صحت پر اچھا اثر ڈالتے ہیں ۔
